Manually created orders now take into account the customers basket discount according to their customer group.

Bulk prices and customer specific prices are now displayed correctly for shops that have activated tax calculation according to destination country. Previously these prices would be displayed as gross prices when they should have been net.

The HTML Check for VAT IDs on the VIES platform has been discontinued. We´ve replaced it with the API version.

Merchants can choose from the settings page of Saferpay payment method between using direct capture feature or not. If this option is enabled then transactions are going to be debited (`captured`) automatically if these transactions were successful (`authorized`). If the option is disabled then the capture process should be executed manually from the transaction list page.

Amazon has launched the marketplace in Sweden. Swedish merchants can now export their products to the Swedish Amazon marketplace.

ELV is now available as a payment method with Saferpay.

We want to make sure that merchants are informed about the procedure and options in regards to the upcoming tax changes ahead of time.

Mollie payments fail if there is no country on the address. We now prevent payment selection if a country is not set, as well as informing the merchant on the settings page, that the address needs to be a mandatory field.

The ekomi integration has been deprecated. Customes who already have it can continue to use it. However it is not possible to set it up in shops that do not use it yet. Merchants can still add the ekomi widget manually (as an HTML page element or via the Google Tag Manager)

A link on the Skrill settings page in Mexican shops did point to an English page. It now points to a spanish page.

In Dutch shops, the € sign needed to be placed before the amount instead of after it as is the case in the rest of the EU

In the order document settings, example address data used to be German for all shops. These are now localized.

Order confirmation mails are now sent automatically for orders that are created in the administration.

It was not possible to add orders to unregistered customers via the administration. Instead each time a new customer had to be created. Now merchants can manually add orders to existing, unregistered customers.

One of the themes has a white font on a dark background. This caused attached PDF documents, terms and conditions etc. to have a white font on white background. The font color has been changed for PDFs.

The shop logo would be displayed too large on order document PDFs.

Merchants can now easily claim ownership of their page at the Google search console in order to gain the benefits it offers.

There are new tutorial videos available.

It was not clear to merchants that the product image zoom needs a minimum image size to work. An info text has been added to the setting, in addition to the one already available at the image upload on the product page.

In the theme Uptown, the registration page had white text on white background.

Order search in the administration, filtered by status “Returned” would not return a filtered result, but instead, it would just return all orders.

Due to changes on eBays side, in some cases there would be no display of payment methods on ebay orders in the shop administration. We implemented a fallback.

It is now possible to create shops that have a swiss locale (Currency, taxes, etc..) and English as the default language.

The wording on the bulk prices was a little misleading. Instead of “price” it is now “Price per item”.

Merchants have been struggling with providing high quality product images. We increase guidance here by displaying the recommended image size.

Previously the shop logo would not appear on the emails the merchants / end customers would receive informing about payment rejection by PayPal.

Previously, a customer who´s account had been deactivated by the merchant would get a message requiring them to confirm their registration. We have changed the message to request the customer to contact the merchant.

As a merchant, you can give customers the possibility to use search filters based on product attributes so that they can find the desired product as quickly as possible. This will increase conversion through quick and easy navigation and is an important feature for nearly every type of retail business.

The Product API now provides the image dimensions along with the URL in order to prevent “page jumps” during loading.

Google Analytics provides sophisticated statistic and analytic functionality. Now search terms used by customers on the web site are transferred to Google Analytics. Using the functionality the merchant gets comprehensive overview what his customers are looking for and what their needs are.

We had previously included structured data for cross selling and related products. We have rectified this as it had no connection to the actual product.

For products with reviews “itemReviewed” was missing.

We renamed the “Dispatch and delivery” page to “Payment and shipping” in order to be consistent across multiple languages.

It is now possible to edit the stock level of the master product. We have also improved/changed the display for stock level and prices of variation products in the administration.

We now display the dispatch date additionally to all other information on the invoice.

Since 01.04.19. Fixed price offers can only have “Good ’til canceled” as a duration. We made changes to reflect this in the UI of the shop administration.

This introduces a new scope and endpoints to read all cart data.This helps merchants to reengage with endcustomers that left their cart and did not complete the checkout.

To be able to comply with the new regulations concerning electronic ivoices in Italy, merchants need to offer an input field for PEC addresses. We have renamed the field Business email for italian shops, and added it to the default registration set.

Bugfixes

If a coupon would be only valid if a certain payment method was used, it was possible for the end customers to circumvent this by changing the payment method later. We now do a complete recalculate of the basket applying the actual conditions and thus removing the coupon.

The correct link to the Klarna administration is now used.

The “customer” icon in the customer area used to lead to an external landing page. Now it leads to the customer overview page.

Improvements

We give the merchant easier access to relevant apps in any context. We display an icon on top of the page indicating the number of available relevant apps. Upon clicking a layer with additional info opens, where the merchant can start the installation of the App.

Google has renamed AdWords to Ads. We have followed this.

The first video tutorials now appear in the help section, so that core functionalities are easier to understand and work with. We will add to these regularily.

To make sure that new merchants don´t get into legal trouble concerning the EUs ban on geoblocking, we have added all EU countries to new shops provisioned inside the EU.

A setting of the editor in use had made it difficult to get a prompt in the text area in certain circumstances.

Fixes in issue when trying to delete aTrusted Shops ID in a multilanuage context.

We now display the dispatch date additionally to all other information on the packing slip.

Products that are set to “Not visible” would be displayed inthe cross selling slider nevertheless.

Fixes an issue with the aligned of product descriptions that were imported via the REST API.

Features

Product numbers are now included in the While the variations table makes variation handling easy and simple. It reaches its limit when it comes to changing descriptions, categories, etc.. for single variations. Thus we introduced a new page where all of this can be edited dedicatedly, while still keeping the table in place.

Merchants can now attach legal documents to order status emails. We generate pdfs of the legal pages every time they are changed.

Improvements

We introduced the possibility to customise the tax matrix earlier. Customers have been difficulties resetting it to the default values.
We have added a notification that helps our merchants find their way.

Bugfixes

Floating elements such as a trust badge, or the reCaptcha badge would overlay the close button of the cookie notice.
We moved the close button to the center on the next line, so that it is always reachable.

It was not possible to configure the color of the “Add to basket” button.

The activation of billing address transfer has changed in the amazon interface. We have adjusted out description accordingly.

Upon making an erroneous entry on the product detail page, a broken link would appear in the product video input field.

Improvements

These design and wording changes follow the rebranding of Klarna and SOFORT in numerous markets.

Bugfixes

Dashes were escaped leading to an inintelligible ID in the Shop which makes tracking impossible.

Requesting a new password would lead to a hard error.

When editing orders that include a deposit in the administration merchants would experience a hard DB error.

The app installation now works properly in all scenarios.

Improvements

We already have a validation for US addresses in place during the checkout. We implemented this for customer addresses in the administration as well.

We have moved the possibility to edit the cookie notice from its place in the administration to the content editor. We will display a notification on the MBO startpage to inform the merchants of this.

We have already included editing of the cookie notice in the content editor. With this issue we have also removed it from its previous location.

We have introduced meta data about the actual order in order status mails such as, information about the shop, order status information, etc. This can be used by some mail clients and webmailers to display additional information in the email list directly.

Bugfixes

In shops with the US tax matrix active it was not possible to use shipping methods of the type Fixed price.

There was a display issue with the select box for reference units on the product page in the administration.

We fixed an issue where the link to download a product was broken in the mobile checkout.

The hreflang tags were implemented in a way, that they showed up even if the shop only has one language.

Resolved an issue with packstations not being displayed on Google Maps during the checkout when selecting DHL Versenden.

The text of the TaC page in the mentioned style ran out of the viewport.

Once a product is added to the basket, the space between the basket element and the search in the navigation bar became too small.

In the last row of a 4 column grid, under certain circumstances, there would only be 3 columns.

The reference price was wrong on bundle products in the list display.

We already have a validation for US addresses in place during the checkout. We implemented this for customer addresses in the administration as well.

Improvements

eBay has started implementing changes to the API, and introducing the so called Catalog API.
This leads to a new authentication process.
– Providers with application management: ePages will take care of the whole process
– Implementation partners: You will receive the necessary information through your account managers.

We have implemented the usage of Google Analytics enhanced ecommerce throughout the checkout, so that checkout funnuels can now be made visible in the analytics dashboard.

The actual amount was incorrectly escaped, causing the issue.

This was caused by the way we had implemented hreflang. We changed the behaviour so that short URLs should appear again.

Features

It is now possible to edit the tax information text on product pages etc. in order to be compliant with German §19 UStG. and / or other laws that touch taxation.

Merchants are made aware of the cross selling feature on the administration start page once they reach a certain amount of products in their shop.

In some countries it is required that the end customers VAT-ID should show up on any invoice. We display it if it exists on the billing address.

it is now possible to edit the “from” address for email events again

Under certain very rare circumstances it was possible that an energy label appears in the shop even though it had not previously been set at the product

when deleting an already uploaded energy label, and then saving again without reloading the page the energy efficiency class would not be removed from the product and thus be displayed in the shop

VAT-IDs from Monace had been rejected by the system. This has been amended.

Improvements

While we supply default tax matrixes for any country our merchants are located in, it is still difficult to account for all exceptions and special cases that are in place worldwide. Thus we decided to enable our merchants to edit their tax matrix should the need arise.

Google expanded the maximum lenght of the meta description to 320 characters. We followed suit.

It is now possible to track adword campaigns in ePages Now

Adwords tracking is now possible in ePages Now.

PayPals “integrated signup flow” is now used. This improves and fastens the creation of a Paypal account (or the connection of an existing one). We are in addition showing more comprehensive information on the PayPay account status.
